Hello everyone,

I haven't used ATF before, but I'm looking to start using it to improve testing efficiency in my development process.

Currently, my project utilizes pages built with UI Builder. My question is: how can I efficiently input values into forms on pages constructed with UI Builder using ATF?

Initially, I tried leveraging the "Click Component (Custom UI)" and "Set Component Values (Custom UI)" test steps. However, these steps cause unstable behavior, especially with reference-type forms.

The documentation at https://www.servicenow.com/docs/ja-JP/bundle/washingtondc-application-development/page/administer/au... states that form input is supported even for pages built with UI Builder, but I'm struggling to find the appropriate test steps.

I'd appreciate any insights from those with expertise. Thank you in advance!

remember ATF has limitations when it comes to UI builder.

You cannot test each and every item of UI builder.

You can only use Custom UI Steps and if they are not able to retrieve the components then you cannot proceed further.
