As we evaluate the potential use of Cloud Runner for our testing processes, we have several critical questions regarding data exposure in the cloud environment:
Hosting Location: Where is Cloud Runner hosted? Is this location different from the data center where our instances are currently located?
Data Transfer: Is any data transferred outside of our data center when using Cloud Runner? If so, where is this data sent, and does it remain within our designated region?
Data Utilization: Is any data used for purposes beyond our immediate needs, such as improving the Cloud Runner service (e.g., for machine learning or performance optimization)?
Additionally, I found that ServiceNow (SNOW) Cloud Runner can be utilized with Automated Test Framework (ATF) testing in the cloud, rather than through a client. I understand that SNOW operates in a shared, multi-tenant environment. My questions are:
Data Isolation: How does ServiceNow ensure data isolation in this shared environment?
Effectiveness of Isolation: How effective is this level of data isolation, particularly when dealing with sensitive data? Is this environment recommended for running ATF tests that involve sensitive information?
