Instance is offline

Hi.

 

I can't access my PDI with error "The instance is offline. Please check again in a few minutes." for 2 days now. Is there any maintenance going on? Will the instance be recovered?

I am experiencing the same issue with my PDI being offline all of today from 0900 GMT........... lets see what tomorrow brings. A post earlier in the thread suggests PDI is undergoing maintenance, can anyone from ServiceNow verify this?

Hi @FrancisDarM ,

 

As you might know, there is no support available from ServiceNow in relation to PDIs, hence you're limited to two options:

  1. Wait, it should come online again after some time.
  2. Release your PDI and request a fresh installation. Notice, all work that hasn't been backed up will be lost for good.

I've been using PDI without any issues since this morning, but I've noticed several posts in the community about PDI being offline. Here are some points to consider:

  1. There is no support available for PDI.
  2. If you can wait, let's wait a bit longer.
  3. You can release this instance and start a new one, but you will lose your previous data. To avoid losing update sets in the future, make sure to take regular backups of your PDI.

There have been 3-4 posts in the community today about PDI failures or unavailability. Based on the responses, you might need to wait 1-2 days and hopefully, the PDI will be back online.

 

This is common issue from last 2-3 days, so better keep an eye and you will get it back, I also got back my PDI yesterday.
