Integrating with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Apps

We are in the process of trying to Integrate with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Apps.  The instructions state that the Required user role in MS Dynamics 365 and Power Apps is:

1.  Global Admin

2.  Dynamics 365 Admin

 

My company will NOT grant global admin.  Has anyone had success configuring this with a lesser role?

I’ve gotten this working by having a directory admin create just the needed app registrations and consent, then handing control back to me. No ongoing high‑level access was required
