Hello All,

 

Could anyone one let me know what pieces of information you would need from the client in order to connect to an instance of SCOM to servicenow to send events.I have thought of a few as mentioned below could anyone correct me if I am wrong or add any thing they think I missed.

 

Host IP-Specify the SCOM IP address.
SCOM ENDPOINT URL
BASIC AUTHORIZATION CREDENTIALS
Connector Parameters

Connector Instance Values

Mid Server(if required)

thanks I went through this but do we need mid server setup for this?

Hi @shevangi ,

 

The out of box connectors, such as SCOM, utilize the MID server for connections. 

You can push events directly to the event management table without a MID server using the API.
