I checked in my PDI and it same as blank:
which means the configuration is missing in backend only, you need add the communication template in plan

I believe that out of the box (OOTB), it works that way by default. You’ll need to build the configuration for your specific use case.

I have enabled this OOB configuration for Technical and Stakeholder as well but it is only working for Technical discussion. For your reference i have attached screenshot below for technical and Business as well.
