Hello everyone,
We are facing an issue with IRE on our client’s development instance.
For the Network Adapter class, there is an out-of-the-box (OOTB) dependent identification rule with two criterion attributes: Name and MAC Address.
I have set the reconciliation rule’s data source to Workspace, as the CIs are being imported from a third-party application, Workspace ONE.
The issue is that while IRE works perfectly for other classes like Computer and Laptop (no duplicates are being generated), it is not working for the Network Adapter class, and duplicates are being created.
I am unsure why IRE is not functioning properly for the Network Adapter class. Could someone please guide me? I have attached a screenshot for your reference.
Thank you!

Your configuration looks okay to me, validate the data coming from workspace, check whether space or small and capital letter are there in name.

Hello @Runjay Patel ,
There are no spaces, no uppercase or lowercase letters, yet it’s still not working. I suspect the issue might be due to the dependent identification rule. I’m not sure how the dependent identification rule executes. Could you please guide me?
Thank you

Hi @shashi123 ,
Try de-activating import set reconciliation rule which you had defined and then try.
