Is CIS – Data Foundations (CMDB and CSDM) is Mandatory to take CIS SAM ?

I have completed CIS SAM course and got voucher but when I am trying to schedule exam using NOW University it is showing CIS – Data Foundations (CMDB and CSDM) is prerequisite to complete.
Earlier it was not mandatory if I am not wrong.

Sorry this probably isn't what you want to hear, but yes, it's now mandatory.

Yes it's Mandatory to take CIS – Data Foundations (CMDB and CSDM) exam before taking below exams:

CIS - ITSM

CIS - HAM

CIS - SAM

CIS - SIR

CIS - VR

CIS - DISCO

CIS - SM
