Is it possible to add alert on click of agent chat icon on portal?

Sometime people by mistake clicks on the chat widget on the portal and it initiates the chat, Hence we want that whenever someone clicks on the chat ICON then it should pop up one alert first asking "do you actually wants to initate the chat" and if user clicks "OK" then only chat should initiate else clicks on "Cancel" then it should stay same on the Home page of portal.

There's no out-of-the-box configuration for such.

 

You can create a custom widget, though that will cost you a ton of time (and future maintenance).

OOTB not possible, may be you can create widget and do .
