Hi @Kri,
Whilst components or related records such as an SLA deinfition's scope can be easily updated, for an application itself - you cannot change the scope without a lot of 'workarounds and manipulation'.
As far as a CAD exam, and best practice advice - the answer is 'No'.
But rather than simply going with a response on the community, let's explore and understand the why and what scope is and the concept.
Scope uniquely identifies every application file, not just within a single ServiceNow instance, but in every instance around the world. Why is this important?
- Scope protects an application, its files, and its data from conflicts with other applications.
- Scope determines which parts of an application are available for use by other applications in ServiceNow.
- Scope allows developers to configure which parts of their application can be acted on by other applications.
- Scope prevents work done in the main ServiceNow browser window (not in Studio) from becoming part of an application's files.
To help others (and for me to gain recognition for my efforts), please mark this response correct by clicking on Accept as Solution and/or Kudos.
Thanks, Robbie

hi @Kri
Unfortunately, It is not possible, and You have to build everything from scratch.( SN recommended way)
But there's a workaround:
Migrate scoped app from developer instance to company instance
I hope my answer helps you to resolve your issue, if yes please mark my answer helpful and correct.
thank you
