We are trying to build an Application in servicenow which will be an interface to our Software from the servicenow UI.
What we are trying to achieve is that --- The user will login to servicenow with his credentials. When he navigates to our application in servicenow, he should be logged in automatically to our software without having to specify any credentials. We are trying to make use of SAML to achieve this. Our software is ready to function as the Service Provider in SAML. Is it possible for servicenow to act as the Identity Provider ?
Thanks,
Santhanu

Hi Santhanu,
I think for an application to be identity provider following things needs to be considered:
Mark Correct if this solves your issue and also hit Like and Helpful if you find my response worthy based on the impact.
Thanks

ServiceNow cannot be used as a Identity Provider for SAML or single signon.
It can only be used as a ServiceProvider.
