Is it possible to disable the "recent selections" function on a single field ?
We would like the reference field "u_config_exceptions.u_change_number" not to show any recent selections (for every user).
Is there a best practise on how to accomplish this ?
Regards,
Jeroen

Hi Jeroen,
Yes. You have to add a business rule on recent selection table with setAbort Action. Below screenshot shows the options you need select while configuring the business rule.
1.
.
2.
Hope that helps

This actually worked better than expected for a security requirement I had. Highly recommend this method to others who need it.

Hi,
You can do this by navigating to the "Recent Selection" module under System Definition and then filter the Records as:
Table is "mention you table name" and Field is "Give your field name" as shown below in the screen shot done for Assignment Group field
Delete the entries for that particular field for which you want the recent selections to be disabled from the Recent Selection table to stop the current selections being shown for that field on the form.. Once this has been done Write an Before Insert/Update Business Rule on the Recent Selection table as shown below to prevent future entries being inserted into this table.
Hope this helps. Mark the answer as correct/helpful based on impact.
