Is it possible to display product characteristics in set of 2 or 3 columns instead of just 1

Hi,
I have a requirement to display product specification characteristics in 2 or 3 columns (2 or 3 characteristics per row) instead of only showing 1 characteristics per row. Default display is only displaying one characteristic (as per screen-shot Model, VIN, Make) per row which makes it difficult when product has 20+ configurable characteristics as user needs to keep scrolling down to view list of characteristics. Is there any way to club 2 or 3 characteristics in a single row for better user experience? TIA
