Is it possible to get access token by SSO login instead of authenticating via web service user?

Hi Team, 

 

I've a customer requirement where they are looking to configure an integration to retrieve incident from ServiceNow to a 3rd party cloud platform. We are using OAuth 2.0 for authentication and would like to check the possibility of generating access token via OAuth API by SSO login instead of using a web service user credentials.  Any lead would be really helpful.
