Is it possible to have users without itil role on the dashboard see incident tickets?

Dear Experts

Is it possible to just let users without itil role see the incident ticket data?

I am thinking something like this

-----------------------------------------------------------------
1. set up an ACL for the "Incidents" table.
 ▼ACL setting details
・Role name : Role A (unique role created for referencing)
 ・Operation : Read
 ・Type : Record

2. Create a filter "Filter A" for the reference user.
Specify the incident table as the table to filter.

3. Call "Filter A" created in 2 from the widget on the dashboard.
-----------------------------------------------------------------

I don't need the permission to edit incident tickets, but there are users who want to refer to related tickets, so I am wondering if it is possible to refer to them in this way.
The purpose of the above is to reduce license fees due to cost issues.

Best regards.

Hi,

That would give them read access to all records. There's already an out of box Incident read role:

sn_incident_read

Have you reviewed this?

Mr. @Allen Andreas

I set the group "sn_incident_read" for displaying reports and now I can see the incident tickets!
Thank you very much.

By the way, is there a license fee for "sn_incident_read"?

P.S.
I am interested in your YOUTUBE channel, but I am very disappointed because I am not good at hearing English.
By the way, an excellent translation site is helping me with my questions in this community.

Best regards.

Hi,

It shouldn't be any license issue, but feel free to speak with a ServiceNow Account Rep just in case.

Thank you for the information about how you watch videos as well. I believe YouTube is rolling out the ability to have videos translated to various languages and I'll keep an eye on that and ensure I opt-in to that when uploading in the future and I have access to that feature.

Thanks!

I believe the "sn_incident_read" consumes a business stakeholder license at best. you may type "license_role.LIST" in your application navigator to see the list of all roles and their associated license type.
