Dear Experts
I have a catalog item that a member of my team accidentally copied and multiplied.
I would like to delete them as they are unnecessary, will this cause any problems?
Best regards.

Hi @M_Tomy
Yes there will no issue, but before you delete
- Validate no REQ / RITM created through those catalog item

@M_Tomy instead of removing just deactivate those catalog items. Those are for your future reference. So, just deactivate them.
If count is more than 50/100, use the background script and deactivate unwanted catalog items.
Thanks & Regards,

Hi,
If it is not in prod then you don't have to think about it. I would suggest just delete it.
if it is in prod, then i would suggest you deactivate it first and see there are no issues being reported, wait for couple of weeks and then delete them.

Hi @M_Tomy,
Please deactivate those catalog instead of deleting. This can be done by list view to deactivate them. Always try to deactivate in ServiceNow, we never recommend to delete anything in ServiceNow if it critical.
Please accept my solution if it resolves your issue and thumps 👍 up
Thanks
Jitendra
