Hi @VS ,

It's not like not supported by indian numbers or any other country's number.  First you need to understand that servicenow sends the message in the from of email only, it is the gateway of the service provider that converts the email into sms message and sends to the subscriber. Generally which ever service provider supports email-to-sms gateway assigns a special number in the format of number@xyz.abc.co so eventually it's an email address only, which further get's converted to message by the service provider.

So, if you have a subscriber that supports email-to-sms gateway then definetly it will work, no matter which country it belongs to. This facility of conversion lies at the service provider gateway and not servicenow.

I hope this help.

Hello,

I don't think that's possible with just OOB setup, however go through below threads once.

Hi,

I have gone through the shared threads.

However, I am looking for some official ServiceNow doc that states the OOB SMS functionality is not supported for Indian numbers.

Thanks

I don't see it written on Docs but I'm sure it is not supported for Indian numbers by default, for US it will work by default but for other countries it won't. If you need 100% confirmation create HI ticket with servicenow team.
