is there a way to include attachments on Approval Email Notifications without having to copy them from the "approval_for" reference record ?

For some strange reason, I seem unable to have SN copy attachments from the approval_for reference record to an actual approval request. In my email notification, I have the "Include Attachments" field checked, still no attachments coming through. Is there something else I am forgetting to check ??
Any help with this would be very much appreciated.

Hi Michael,
Your script worked perfectly but I changed "After" to "Display" for the When selection. Changing it to "Display" allowed the attachments at the Requested Item to be copied over to the Approval anytime an attachment gets attached to the Requested Item.
FYI our instance is on Istanbul Patch 4.

Hi, has anything changed within 4 years since this was posted? Do we still need to copy the attachments to the approval record from "approval_for" reference record?
