Hi
I am trying to add an attachment to a record producer on our Service Portal.
Below are my current steps:
When I run the test it fails at the "Add attachment ... " step, see below:
Error is "Invalid table".
I have searched (and found) a couple of results for the exact same issue, but no real solution.
The funny thing is that if I impersonate the user and submit the request via the portal (not via ATF) there is no problem attaching and submtting the request.
I am a bit stuck here, so any help would be appreciated.
Regards
Søren

Sorry but I have already read that article and it does not help in any way.
- First there is no limitations on the table
- Second the user can attach files through the normal portal UI
- Third my step fails with "Invalid table" and not with what is observed in the article

Hi @SN_Learn
I have already read that knowledge article and it doesn't really help a lot.
I am not sure what this statement means "However when using the test step "Add Attachments to Form (SP)" - there is a chance of a successfully completed test step to attach to the catalog item on the service portal page. Whether this is successful or not depends on the customizations on the page."
- What page are we taking about ?
- User is able to attach file in normal way via portal ui
- To my knowledge we have made no customizations to the "request page" (if that is the one we are talking about) except of course configuring the request form
I might be able to use the steps provided but:
- I would then need to upload the "test file" to sys_attachments first to get the sys_id, correct ?
- in my form I dont have a specific field for attachement ie. I dont have an "upload_file" field (I am using the standard "add attachment" functionality in the record producer
Kind Regards

Hi @s_renjarnbo
Unfortunately, we do not have an ATF test step that could fulfill the requirement - Attach a file to the catalog item.
However when using the test step "Add Attachments to Form (SP)" - there is a chance of a successfully completed test step to attach to the catalog item on the service portal page. Whether this is successful or not depends on the customizations on the page.

I am sorry @Shaqeel this is not helpful at all.... others have already referred to that and it makes me no wiser.....
What is the purpose of that test step - if not adding an attachment ???

Søren
