Issue with Auto-Population of Incidents and Change Requests on CI Application Services

Hi Community, am facing an issue with the auto-population of incidents and change requests on CI (Configuration Item) Application Services. While the functionality is working correctly for IRM CIs, for others, the incident and change request are not being auto-tagged. Could you please guide me on how to resolve this issue? Any insights or best practices would be greatly appreciated. Business classification for the CI is "Application" earlier. later it has been changed to ''Application services". Is this causing the issue. Checked business rules and scripting . Didn't find anything.

Hi @raginiv,
validate CI relationships and its dependencies by navigating to cmdb_rel_ci
check affected business rules on change and incident and cmdb_ci tables

Hello @raginiv

What are you using for auto assignment ? Assignment rule ? data look up ? Any form of server or client side script ?

Kindly mark my answer as helpful and accept solution if it helped you in anyway. This will help me be recognized for the efforts and also move this questions from unsolved to solved bucket.
