Issue with MID Server Installation on Zurich Release: Connection fails with 'mid_server' role, requi

Hi Community,

I am currently facing an issue while attempting to install a MID Server on the Zurich release.

The Problem:
When I attempt to install/connect the MID Server using a service account that only has the mid_server role, the connection fails. However, if I assign the admin role to that same user, the installation proceeds successfully.

Historically, the mid_server role should be sufficient for the agent to connect and validate.

Workaround Found:
To get it working without granting full admin privileges, I was forced to downgrade the MID Server agent package to the Yokohama version.

My Questions:

  1. Is there a known bug or a breaking change in the Zurich release regarding MID Server permission requirements?

  2. Are there new ACLs or roles introduced in Zurich that are required for the initial handshake aside from the standard mid_server role?

Has anyone else experienced this behavior? Any insights would be appreciated as I want to avoid running the MID Server user with admin rights or using an older agent version permanently.

THANKS

@yana7 Recently i have setup the MID server with mid_server role and it worked as expected. I don't see any challenges. Did you get chance to review the error in the logs?
