ITSM Mobile Agent - Input form and adding records with datetime fields

I have a request to add the functionality that exists in your user / profile record to add a delegate to the Mobile Agent.  
I first started with the simple Function->Action->Input Form and am stopped when trying to set a start date and end date.  Seems those fields are not 'fully supported' yet.  I was hoping I was just missing a step where using simple coding is available before I jump to the scripted option.

If scripted is the only way, has anyone tried to use a scripted Action and input similar to the Request Time Off when dealing with date time fields?
