KB articles not searchable on Service Portal search boxes

I am not able to find KB articles from Service Portal home page search box. KB articles have proper 'valid to' dates and proper permissions to be viewed but not showing up in search results on the portal.

Hi Snehal,

 

Go to 'Search Sources' module in application navigator.

Check that Search Source record is present for Knowledge Base, if not than add it. If present than check the script and correct. Can compare from PDI or any instance where it is working properly.

Which record to be opened under sources ?

Hello,

 

Please do the below:-

 

Go to Portals from navigation

Then Open the Portal which you are using and then you need to chekc two things:-

 

1) If knowledge base is present in search source if not add it.

2) If the different knowledge bases are present under knowledge bases if not add them.
