Two solutions, you can consider any one.

 

1. Create two different workflow and add them to respective KB base. Here you can avoid the complexity of writing script as well as maintenance of the same. directly provide group name in the workflow group approval activity.

OR

2. Create one list type field in KB base table referring to group table. Now in your workflow group activity, just refer this group field by dot walking to KB base on the KB article. This will be a better solution as you can add the same workflow to any new KB base in future and updating approval is simply KB base field update instead of workflow update.
