Hi everyone!
I'm able to notice that the articles currently under draft state are visible on the service portal,
can anyone help me how I can restrict the visibility of the knowledge articles to the published versions only?
Thanks in advance!!

Hello @aman_sharma_07 ,
Please find the below property and make sure that it should be unchecked.
(Knowledge Portal Properties (Knowledge > Administration > Properties))
Also you can verify the properties shown in below image,
Let me know your views on this and Mark ✅Correct if this solves your query and also mark 👍Helpful if you find my response worthy based on the impact.
Regards,
Aniket

Hi @aman_sharma_07 ,
This is expected behaviour in out-of-the-box design. Once you check out a published article, a new record will get created with its next version in draft state. Administrators and knowledge managers/owners will see on the KB portal both published and new draft versions of the article.
If you want to restrict it u can edit the existing read acl on KB article table with a script checking if state = published then answer true else answer false.
Thanks,
Danish

Hi @Danish Bhairag2 , for my issue the knowledge role people can see the review state article in portal and not the published version. snc_internal role people can see only Published version. However, only published version of the article should be visible on portal so why review state version is only visible to some users and published one to end users. What is the out of box behaviour related to it? Is there any oob ACL behind it.
For my instance following is unchecked still only reviewed state article is visible
(Knowledge Portal Properties (Knowledge > Administration > Properties))
If we do not want to create Acls then how can we manage?
You support will be really helpful for my issue resolution.

This is expected one and you can check the properties of knowledge managment.
