Knowledge Base Article Shows 2 Attachments Widgets

Hi all,

 

Our Knowledge Base Articles are showing the Attachments widget twice on the sidebar, any idea what's going on and how I can fix that?

Hi @CCSF-Syd ,

 

That is hard to tell without being in the system (can have multiple reasons).

Can you start by checking if they are out-of-the-box widgets and based on which conditions they show?

 

The easiest is logging in with an admin account, press CTRL + right click on the header of the widget. It will give you more information on the widget that is shown and gives you the ability to directly adapt the configuration if needed.

 

You also have there the option to 'Show Widget Customizations', which shows an overlay with defaulted or customized components of the widget(s) in different colors. Clicking on the (i) will give you more information.

Check the portal page, because the widget is probably added twice. 

OOB it's there only once (my instance is on Washington patch 3)

Go to the Portal page of the Article and press CTRL + right click on the header of the widget. you will see page in Designer click on that and redirect to the Service Portal Designer Page. On the Right Side you can see the Knowledge Article Widget added twice remove one widget. it will work. try and let me know.
