My client is in the Health Care industry and uses a product called Lawson (http://www.infor.com/product-summary/scm/scm-for-healthcare/) as an entry point for Human Resources. My client would like to perform typical activities such as create accounts, profiles, etc. as well as create Purchase Requests by calling a web services API. Have you worked with such an API for Lawson ? Your comments / experience would be of great value to me. Thanks

We are using Lawson and we, too, are in the health care industry. Over the next year I have been tasked with integrating lawson with servicenow and would love to share ideas. Right now, we have a real quick and dirty interface where Lawson exports user information into our Integration Engine (Corepoint) which then uses a SOAP call to throw that information into SN. Totally lame, but functional for what it is right now. I'm hoping to find a direct REST API for lawson (was told there is one). We are looking to automate pretty much the same things you are.

Hello,
Our initial need is to have catalog requests for hardware and software from ServiceNow transfer to Lawson as a purchase request. Have you done anything similar.
Thanks for your help.

We haven't started yet. Our first project will most likely be around user provisioning since Lawson is the source of truth for that. It'll probably use the same sort of interface as your project, so please keep us informed and I'll do likewise when we get closer to actually doing it.
