LDAP and SSO

I was wondering if someone could shed some light on this subject for me.

We currently use LDAP authentication from our AD environment to have our employee's login with their email address and password. 

Recently we were asked to onboard a subsidiary into our environment . They use Azure AD. I was able to test auto provisioning and had everything working in our dev instance, however when trying to log out of the instance I was presented with an auto redirect logout loop that is common. Turning off SSO resolved the loop

My question is: How do I keep the LDAP authentication, but also allow the Azure integration to work with SSO. 

I dont have alot of experience in SSO, we tried using it in production when we first started and it didnt work so we failed over to LDAP and have been using it ever since.
