LDAP integration - record limit

All,

I have a scheduled job configured to pull records from LDAP as we have issues in configuring the LDAP listener.

But this load pulls only 500 records at a time whilst our intention is to pull 8000+ users.

Please advise the best solution to tackle this issue.

Regards,

Arav

If you go to Data Sources, click on your Data Source record, Related Links: Load All Records - how many records load?

500

Not aware of any limits, our EMEA region is pulling in over 25k records

I did a test as we are currently on Calgary and via VPN

We have a DEV instance on Fuji and that pulls in all the same users via LDAP and the MID server.

Can you do an LDAP query / search via another tool and see what that brings in - just to eliminate Servicenow or implicate your LDAP source.

You don't state what your LDAP source is, but there are ways to limit what can be returned, and W2K8 returned less data that W2K3 by default - though this mentions 5000 records by default

and something if Linux is the source - and this mentions 500 users - but is from 2010

more talk of this being a default with openLDAP
