Linking GitLab and ServiceNow

This page is the guide I'm following for source control configuration. I'm trying to link GitLab, but keep getting this error

I own the group and repo I am trying to link to, and created a personal access token with api access and used it as the password. I also tried using my regular GitLab password but that also failed. The group and project are both marked as Internal. Is there an extra step involved with GitLab that I am perhaps missing?

I have only worked with GitHub, but one thing I've commonly run into is the URL. Do you have the correct URL to Copy/Download the repo? GitHub provides a button to copy the link for this.

Also, are you working with a local installation of GitLab, or an online version?

Ben

GitLab also provides a button to copy the .git link. I am working with the online version. I have worked with GitHub as well and never experienced any issues. This is probably because GitHub is public and just requires user/pass to link.

rzj,

We are experiencing a similar issue. Do you recall how your resolved the failure?

You may probably need to provide the right URL.

The URL usually ends with *.git.
