List Client & Server Scripts on Embedded list

Hi all,

does anyone have any documentation regarding the "List Client Scripts" and "List Server Scripts" ?

I found them in Embedded lists, but not sure how to use them / what's the context, if there is any return value in server script and so on....

Hi Peter, could you please stepwise describe how to find "List Client Scripts" in an Embedded list? I'd invest some time to play with them. Thanks!

1. Edit a form and add an embedded list (Configure -> Form Layout -> Add one of the red entries)
2. Right click on the header and select Configure -> List Control. There you can find two related lists for "List Client Scripts" and "List Server Scripts"

I am currently playing around with it a bit too. However, I am not sure how or if the server scripts are supposed to work. Adding a simple log-statements doesn't seem to actually log anything. Maybe you need to manually add some method signature like in a business rule, I am not sure.
