List / Form View :: Split Layout Question

There are business/technical reasons why I cannot create a dashboard or gauges so I am trying to come up with another option.   Here is the scenerio.

I would like to turn on List / Form view with my screen split horizontally.   In the first tab that appears at the bottom of the page I create a report.   I then click the + tab to create a new tab on the bottom horizontal plane.   In that tab I create a different report.   The result so far is I have the list view on the top half of the screen and two tabs on the bottom half of the screen.

Here is the question.   Is there a way to save those settings so that when I log back into SN tomorrow, the system opens either with the List/form view turned off and I simply turn it on and there are my two tabs with my reports or the system starts up after login with the list view already turned on with the horizontal split and my two report tabs available at the bottom.

I cannot figure out how to get it to save these settings once I log out.  

Thoughts?

Unfortunately, I don't believe this is possible.   A user preference is getting set to know you want the tabs, but there isn't a setting to tell it to open specific content when you log back in.
