List report in priority

I created a simple report and everything works as intended besides the priority order. When I run the report, the priority should be listed in order of a -z or z-a but it is not. What did I do wrong with this report 

sort is priority  a-z

Thats same thing I did, not sorting on my end. What field is it sorting with
