location field on incident form error

this is already existing functionality where onchange of caller location field population. But here the problem is even after auto populate the location field on incident when user tries to update another location or same location manually it is throwing error which is right below the location field. what could be the reason?

 

error: "invalid reference"

2nd error: "match not found reset to original"

Is that an OOTB script or custom one?

Hi @sinu2 

 

Please check the dictionary of "Location" field. you may find some value in Dependent Field which is preventing the manual selection of Location.

You can remove the dependent and try updating location

Check the particular Location record whether the Company has all the data populated correctly.

Check the dictionary of location field, see if there is any dependent field.
