Looking for Incident Dashboard metrics and display ideas

I am looking for some ideas for our incident management dashboard and metrics display.   There is so much you can pull but I want to know what other people are reporting so I can create some ideas to submit for our organization.

  1. Keep it simple (Kiss)
  2. Try to stick with out of box standard reports - minor parameter edits if needed
  3. join KPI Library.com - search ITIL and COBIT
  4. google ITIL Incident metrics
  5. Use ITIL V3 guidance straight from the book - see list of Incident metrics
  6. Use COBIT Enabling Processes book page 177 (and learn goals / metrics cascade)
  7. ISO200000 Part 1 or 2 helps keep your brain focused
  8. numbers tell the story - variation is the voice of the process
