mailto.approval - Email template

Hi All:

I am using Email template: mailto.approval in one of the approval notification. But when a user clicks on the link, an additional page is getting opened in the Chrome along with email window.

Page - mailto:instancename@service-now.com?subject=Re%3AXXX000XXX%20-%20approve&body=%0A%0ARef%3MSGXXXX%20

I have tested it in Firefox and safari where it works fine. Any suggestion.

Yes I tried but did not work. Even I did not get options to select email client under Handler link. 

In place of that there was "Allow sites to ask to become default handlers for protocols (recommended)" which was true. I tried by clearing cache and cookies/resetting chrome but did not work.
