Unable to Save On-Call Shift Template Due to Time Validation Error

Hi Team,

I am working on creating an on-call shift template with a weekly rotation that is intended to start every Tuesday at 11:00 AM CST.

However, I am currently facing an issue while configuring the shift timings. When I set the shift start time as 11:00 AM CST and try to define the end time as 10:59:59 AM CST (to ensure a seamless weekly transition), the system does not allow me to save it and throws an error stating that the end time cannot be greater than the start time.

My requirement is to have the shift run continuously for one week, ending at 10:59 AM CST the following Tuesday, with the next shift starting immediately at 11:00 AM CST.

Could you please guide me on how to configure the schedule correctly so that:

  • Each shift ends at 10:59 AM CST
  • The next shift begins at 11:00 AM CST without overlap or gaps

Any suggestions or recommended workaround for this configuration would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Hello @Preksha Kapoor

I believe the table name is cmn_schedule_span where you are getting this error:

Instead of 10:59, go for 11:00 which means 11 am to 11 am as there will be no overlap or gaps:

Hope that helps!
