Make custom field editable on Knowledge table

Hi,

I have a requirement where we have a custom field on kb_knowledge table and if the article is published, still the field should be editable. 

Name of the field: Interested Party

and Knowledge Advance plugin is activated. 

 

We tried writing an ACL on field level but it did not work. 

 

Quick help is appreciated
