Make fields read only when creating catalog item via catalog builder

When submitting the catalog item via catalog builder template. I want to make fields read-only once Catalog Item is submitted. (published)

Fields shouldn't be editable when making the changes to the published catalog item. 

 

IF anyone has any idea in mind.. please share your thoughts.

In Template there is section, where you can defined, which field a user can change or not.

I am able to do it via catalog client script already. it's working as expected.
