Make some fields invisible in reporting filter

When we go to All>reports>create New, when we give source type as "table" and data source as "sys_user", When we click on filter icon, In that filter need to hide some fields to specific groups, Can anyone help me on this with step-by-step process.

I would believe that you can filter out these columns in the ACL read as described in this community post:

I need those fields to be visible for L1 group and L2 group only.
