Making PII data in additional comments and work notes

Hi Developers,

Do we have any methods to mask PII data in additional comments and work notes?

Can we identify them based on Regex patter and replace the entered values with "X" ?

Please provide a solution for this, need to mask off only the PII information and rest of the information shouldn't be undisturbed.

not possible to determine this and not possible to mask only PII information and show others

Why not have Column level encryption and allow only users satisfying that encryption context to see?

This applies to agents as well.
