Making Service Portal Public

We have a requirement to make service portal public. Like user does not have to login to go to service portal and access features which don't need login, like searching knowledge.
I know how to make certain page public but making service portal public is something new

Hi,
Did you make the Data Table widget public as well? I had to do that to get my test working. I'm not sure but it may be worth clone the widget and making the clone public to avoid any other unintended consequences:

It's not just KB article but many such modules. Take a look at this example site. They don't need any necessary login
