Max length of SUBJECT in any email notification ?

try to change the max length to 256 first and then try to put it to a bigger value after. It seems that if you don't put it to 256 first, the change will not occur as at a database end (one you cannot change yourself) there is a change in the field data type.

You should read the thread Pradeep suggested you. It helps in finding the answer.


Anyway, try right-click Personalize Dictionary in the field name and then change max length!

the dictionary personalisations are already in place. so is the question that though its in place the objective is unacheived?



the link says that one needs to contact the SNOW for DB issue..wanted to know if anyone is available with solution for same what SNOW provided?


You are right. I tried now and it doesn't change the max length...


I think it is a restriction from the system, but I am not sure about this!
