Max length of SUBJECT in any email notification ?

Naga,


try to change the max length to 256 first and then try to put it to a bigger value after. It seems that if you don't put it to 256 first, the change will not occur as at a database end (one you cannot change yourself) there is a change in the field data type.

Hi nagapramodkanchi,


                i'm also facing the same issue but i need increase in subject length on email client (envelop icon on top of incident) i have changed all the dictionary subject lengths to 256 as u guys discussed here but still i'm getting 160 characters length.
