maximum number of catalog items allowed in Order Guide

Hi Experts,

We have a requirement to add catalog items to order guide based on a flag in the catalog items.

This might pull in many number of catalog Items in order Guide on Choose Options page.

Can you please let me know if there is any limit on adding number of catalog items?

I believe it also poses an issue with loading of the catalog items.

I have not heard about any upper limit of how many catalogs can be part of an order guide. So i guess there is none.

Thanks for your reply, what could be the performance effect on order guide when there are too many catalog items listed ?

I's say...not much, as the on-load scripts of the cat items run when that tab is in focus. I have worked on the scenario where there were almost 50 Cat items on an order guide and max 20-25 would come based on the selections. That worked well for me.
