@mention is not working in sctask

Hi guys, I need some help because I'am new in ServiceNow. We got some issue in @mention process in sctask because when we try to mention the user (user is not a requestor or watchlist) the @mention notification is not triggered. Is there any way that we can fix this or need configuration?
