So as you know you can use MFA on servicenow and it generates the code on an authenticator when you scan the QR code or use code provided.
The authenticator automatically assigns a name for the authenticator code, like "instance dev", but is it possible to define what will be used by default?
For example if I wanted to use something very unique for each instance I have? Like instead of instance dev, instance test and instance, could I have "Frodo", "Gollum" and "Sam"?

Hi @Weird ,
Thanks for sharing the feedback. some of the authenticator apps, allow you to rename the account after configuring it successfully. Please refer to these links for the Okta Verify app.

Similar options might be available for other authenticator apps.
Thanks,
Randheer

Hi, yes I'm aware of that, but for some customer users it would be easier if most of the process is done already rather than instructing them to change it themselves. But based on your answer I assume it's not possible to customize the name associated with the code provided by the instance?

Hello, we have the same requirement, is it possible to set somewhere which name is given by default?
