Migrating LDAP imports to Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), anyone did that before?

Hi folks, 

Has anyone migrated from LDAP import (users and groups) from AD on-prem to Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) that could share best practices or point to the right path?

We also have a Service Catalog that uses PowerShell a lot for provisioning accesses to AD groups, user provisioning, email accounts, etc. For these, I have a fair idea of what needs to change, but any advice would be greatly appreciated.
