I would like to put together some minimum requirements for the position of a Junior ServiceNow Consultant / Developer.
If someone wants to work in ServiceNow as a developer or consultant, they definitely need at least some fundamental knowledge of JavaScript and databases. Regarding JavaScript, to work effectively, they should understand basic programming concepts and have a grasp of object-oriented programming. As for databases, they should at least be familiar with the basics.
However, not everything needs to be known at the start for a given position, which is why I would like to specifically outline what you think a person should know.
For example:
- JavaScript – Variables, data types, loops, ...
- Databases – Primary keys, basic operations, ...
- CSS – Maybe something from CSS?
- Other technologies?
What is your opinion? Thank you very much.

Hi @Marek Remi_
Database I think very minimum needed here, along this, if need to work on the portal, Angular js/ Html and CSS are required. Also, the developer must be aware about SN concepts BR/ CS/ etc and SN Glide classes and functions.

Hello AG,
We have our own program for learning ServiceNow, in collaboration with Now Learning. The main point is that within this program, we don't want people to have to study the basics of databases and programming additionally. We simply consider this a prerequisite for the position. We will teach them ServiceNow, but they need to have some foundational knowledge, and I would like to define exactly what that foundation entails.
