Missing Apps in Development

Rob White2

Why do my apps disappear every time I log into my development instance, and when I try to recreate them I get the error of

"Your app encountered an unexpected error while being created. Details: Failed to create templated object, details: This scope is already taken by another application"

Hi

I think I've fixed it, I have activated all of the available plugins and now when I login I now get a different screen where I can click "Let's Go". This then takes me to the App Engine Studio where I can see my apps

Hi @Rob White2

It should not be case actually. You can check in App engine or check the App scope exits or not?

Hi

Thank you for your reply, forgive me for my lack of understanding what you are referring to. I am very new to ServiceNow so I'm still finding my feet.

I log into the developer site and click on the "Start Building" icon which takes me to the App Engine Studio, where I would usually see any apps that I have built. But whether I'm on the Home page or the My Apps page I see nothing. I'm obviously doing something wrong but what?

Hi @Rob White2

It can be a reason that Demo Apps not loaded in your PDI. Geneally when we open AES in PDI , we saw few pre built apps.

Hi @Rob White2

Maybe screenshots could help us understand better.

When you launch app engine studio from application navigator, it take you to the homepage of app engine studio where you have app templates and apps that you have built inlcluding the OOBs.
